Yellow maeng da
Who knows me knows that yellow is probably my most favorite choice when it comes to kratom other than red. This unique strain is said to provide a mix of uplifting and relaxing properties similar to green and while i used to use alot of green strains in the beginning of my kratom journey, ever since i discovered yellow it is something that turned itself into one of my main strains in my rotation.

I have tried yellow strains from many different vendors and just like with other strains, there's always a chance of finding inconsistencies, what is being sold as yellow does not have the characteristic yellow hue and also unique smell.

This however cannot be said about the EZ Kratom yellow maeng da. It was the first bag i opened to try and almost immediately i noticed a unique change in aroma which i would definitely attribute to the shade drying technique. looking into the bag and smelling the aroma of this maeng da strain its almost like you can feel the cool shadow which immersed the plant as it dried.
​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​I dosed 2.25 grams using my milligram weight scale which I recommend to anybody who uses kratom regularly and wants to be precise with their consumption. it is the case with kratom, especially for new users that one gram more or less can completely change your experience so knowing how much kratom you are taking at once is important!
Red Maeng Da and Red Bali
​I was particularly eager to try EZ Kratom's Red Maeng Da and Bali as part of my nightly wind-down routine – a time for reading, journaling, and meditation before sleep. For me, a high-quality red vein kratom consistently delivers a deep relaxation and settled calmness. It's works wonders for creating a tranquil atmosphere in the evening, helping me to center my thoughts and recharge.
With this Red Maeng Da from EZ Kratom, the aromatic and earthy notes of its texture and taste were immediately evident. I genuinely feel their shade-drying process again makes a distinct difference here, enhancing the natural character of the leaf. In fact, it improved the taste to the point where even the 'toss and wash' method became surprisingly palatable, which isn't always the case.

Green Riau
I tried 3 grams of red bali first and proceeded to read my newest clive cussler book for a while in bed before wrapping up the day with some journaling, writing down my thoughts or planning new ideas related to my work. the soothing effects of the red bali served great for this purpose. the following day i gave the red maeng da a try around the same time in the evening. i felt a distinctive difference from the bali where the red maeng da provided a deeper calm and less stimulating experience so i went ahead and took 4 grams right before bed, the effects worked wonders for my insomnia and i found myself dozing into an effortless sleep
Green vein kratom is a variety I like to turn to when I feel I've been using red or yellow strains too frequently, or simply when I'm in the mood for its uniquely refreshing effects. Generally, Green Kratom is celebrated for striking a fine balance between relaxing and uplifting properties, often described as simultaneously motivating and calming. Some users also turn to green vein kratom for depression, and I can definitely see how its characteristics could be found useful for that purpose.

This particular Green Riau from EZ Kratom immediately impressed me with its notably pleasant and fresh aroma; its vibrant green hue clearly distinguishes it visually from other vein colors. After taking a dose of 2.74 grams, I experienced a wave of pleasant relaxation accompanied by a distinct euphoria. Interestingly, this Green Riau also provided a nice, smooth energy that actually helped motivate me to get some cleaning done around the house. Both its taste and aroma are definitely more pronounced and enjoyable compared to many other green strains I've tried. To me, this signals a very high-quality kratom leaf.
White Horn
At the beginning of my kratom journey i used white more than i do now however it is still something that holds a powerful property for me - I tend to use white vein kratom for exercising as well as doing bow and arrow target shooting. I find that the stimulating effects of white vein can truly get me into a physical and mental "flow state" where my movements and coordinations become effortless and precise. The Ez Kratom white horn is a true white vein powder which would be evident even if you just looked at the powder without knowing what the bag says. 2 grams of it provided me with the familiar focus and energizing qualities that white vein powder is known for. i have tried various white horn variants from different vendors and i got to say that this one blows all of them out of the water. after testing out two doses i gave the rest of the bag to my wife since she occasionally enjoys kratom too and only likes white vein.
25x *GOLD* Full Spectrum Kratom POWDER Extract
Our special guest for this review is the 25x Gold Full Spectrum Powder Extract from EZ Kratom. When I first encountered this unique product, I was genuinely amazed by its appearance – it has a striking look, resembling polished charcoal or a dark, crystalline gemstone, which is quite pleasant to behold.

They highlight a meticulous process: the leaves are precisely picked, finely ground, always indoor-dried (never sun-dried to protect alkaloids), and then extracted using food-grade solvents. While they mention the source leaves themselves take on a golden color after drying, the final concentrated powder I received has that intriguing dark, gem-like quality that certainly makes it stand out. For me, as someone who has used traditional kratom powders for years, delving into extracts is a relatively new and refreshing experience. My only prior encounter with a kratom extract was a liquid form, which provided a very positive and distinct experience. That’s precisely why I was particularly excited to explore this 25x Gold Full Spectrum powder extract from EZ Kratom. To thoroughly understand its characteristics for this review, I plan on testing it in multiple forms – including both toss and wash and using it in capsule form - these different consumption methods might influence the effects. On top of that, since EZ Kratom mentions their extract can be beneficial for workout recovery, I’ll also be incorporating it into my daily workout routine to assess that aspect.
Knowing this is a potent '25x' extract, and with EZ Kratom themselves advising users new to their full-spectrum extracts to start with around 0.5 grams, I opted for an even more cautious approach for my first dose, beginning with approximately 0.25 grams. At this introductory level, the effects were surprisingly relaxing and notably smooth, without any overwhelming intensity. When I later increased the dose by adding another 0.5 grams (totaling about 0.75g), this pleasant, relaxed character was maintained; it felt potent yet managed, never too strong or overbearing.

Following my initial toss-and-wash experiences, I decided to also test the Full Spectrum extract in a capsule. I prepared one by emptying one of my saw palmetto capsules and refilling it with approximately 0.25 grams of the extract. The effects from this capsule were very positive as well. I experienced a distinct increase in focus, which came on with a slightly longer delay compared to taking the raw powder. A really cool and welcome effect I’ve also been noticing with this extract is an apparent sharpening of my eyesight – a fantastic benefit, especially for my bow target shooting and other activities that demand good vision. I also used about 0.5 gram of it after my daily workout and it was an amazing way to soothe any aches and pains from the exercise, combined with a cold shower it was even more pronounced and created a whole new awesome experience!

For me, the overall experience was very comparable to the smooth and soothing effects I’ve found with some high-quality liquid extracts. The clean and manageable experience I had with this 25x Gold Full Spectrum extract seems to speak to the care EZ Kratom says they put into their sourcing and processing, aiming for "top of the line Alkaloid content." While EZ Kratom's description mentions a variety of potential benefits for their full-spectrum extracts, such as up to 6 hours of invigorating and calming effects and promoting relaxation, my personal experience with these initial doses leaned beautifully into the calming, soothing, and deeply relaxing side of the spectrum. It’s clear this is a concentrated product designed for those familiar with kratom, and my experience aligns with the potency EZ Kratom describes.
Overall, my experience with EZ kratom has been very positive and i recommend this vendor to everyone looking for high quality small batch reliable kratom products. the shade drying technique truly makes a difference not only in effect but also in terms of flavor or smell of the leaf.
