Gemini Vapors Koi E-liquid review
Welcome to this unique vape juice review of Gemini vapors, founded by the true vaping legend and master mixologist Phillip rocke. Up until two weeks ago I was completely unaware of this vape juice creator, I found Gemini vapors while looking at e-liquids on element vape and all it took was a look around for a minute and I already fell in love with the unique presentation , designs and names of the e-liquids and while you can never tell if a vape juice is going to be good until you try it.
​For this Review we will be testing the E-liquid Koi which is a combination of honey melon with a "coconut exhale", before we get into this I want to explain a little more about my background. Since I am originally in Germany for most of my vape journey I used e-liquids from the European market which is very different from the US market. First of all it has to be said that the European market has far higher quality standards for mixing vape juice which often results in way better e-liquids...

​There are only very few e-liquid manufacturers that are known both in the US and Europe. These include brands such as Dinner lady, Twelve Monkeys and it's sub company illusion vapors (which is actually Canadian) , riot squad and a few others, all of which are known to have extremely high quality standards!
The reason why there is such a difference between international vaping markets I believe is primarily due to the strong Vaping Regulations and how they can differ immensely between different countries or states. In Germany for example you are unable to buy a E-liquid containing more than 10 ml with nicotine already in it, now if most people hear that they would be like are you kidding me? So German vapers only carry 10ml bottles with them? Not quite - The workaround is that you can buy a so called short fill liquid which for a 120 bottle would be roughly 100 ml of a given vape juice and then along with that you buy 10 ml "nicotine shots" , these come in different strengths and you can add them based on how much nicotine you want your finished vape juice to have.

Along with that most people in Germany also mix their own vape juice by buying a "Longfill Aroma" - A regular vape juice bottle from a known company like twelve monkeys, containing for example 20 ml aroma in a 60 ml Bottle - These are then filled up with Basic PG / VG and of course nicotine shots , This way the Vape juice can be completely customized based on the vapers preference and it also in essence makes many German vapers familiar with mixing their own vape juice when If it was possible to buy any vape juice completed with nicotine that probably would not be the case, so if at first those laws sound crazy (they are) They actually have the benefit of turning many vapers In Germany into hobbyist vape juice mixers.

The only difference of course is that if you buy a aroma from a known company and fill it up with PG / VG and nicotine, you are not really creating your own vape juice, you are "building up" a vape juice with a flavor that already has been mixed by the company.

This is where the distinction comes in and why Phillip Rocke is the legend he is in the vaping world - Mixing your own vape juice aroma's together to form a unique, tasty vape juice with delicious notes in it is where the true art of the vape mixologist comes in - and it is an art that Phillip Rocke has certainly mastered in the eyes of the vaping scene.

Am I myself, a vaper with very high flavor and quality standards from the European market going to agree with that? Lets find out.
A high quality vape juice review of course demands a high quality tool to effectively taste it - In this case I ordered the Kylin V3 RTA in Frosted Grey which proved to be a great choice because even with my first attempt of wicking this RTA - The koi E-liquid absolutely shines, during the first few puffs I immediately noticed a very pleasant honeymelon note that was engulfed in a perfect wave of creaminess.
If you know me you might know that dessert juices for me are a difficult thing, I have liked numerous dessert flavors over the years but most of them make me want to go back to fruit after a few tanks or less. The honeymelon flavor in this juice however completely changes that and let me tell you strange coincidence - back in germany when I used to mix my own aromas one of my favorite long fills was a flavor called "Arachne" - The flavor profile of this aroma was guess what: Melon Milk, which also refers to creamy honey melon, this specific aroma was one of my favorites and I was very sad when I could not order it online anymore because it was appearantly discontinued.

The gemini vapor's koi E-liquid tastes just like that aroma - but better. Instead of a merely milk cream flavor effect this one actually provides my taste buds with coconut! Coconut is one of my favorite additions to many vape juices such as strawberry coconut , pina colada (one of my all time favorites) and several other fruit flavor combinations I really enjoyed. The coconut in this juice is absolutely fantastic and just like master mixologist phillip rocke describes it, you mostly notice it on your exhale. The inhale is delicious creamy honey melon but on the exhale is when the coconut note truly comes out and it creates a delicious well rounded experience that leaves you wanting more.
One of the first things you'll notice about Koi is its stunning appearance. Like many of Gemini's creations, this e-liquid is vividly colored—in this case, a deep, raw emerald green that looks absolutely beautiful in the tank.

As a reviewer with a background in natural health, I know that colored e-liquids can sometimes be a point of concern for vapers. However, you can rest assured. The vibrant hue comes from simple, food-grade coloring, which has been shown to have no discernible effect on the flavor or the safety of the vape experience. It is a purely aesthetic choice, and in my opinion, a brilliant one that adds another layer of art to this masterpiece.

All in all - The Gemini vapors Koi E-liquid completely blew me away, in fact as you can see in the several pictures I vaped almost half the bottle before I even thought of taking shots of it - It is a true nostalgic experience to me and makes a juice that I already loved in the past even better and brings it into the present, to me it is one of my new all day vapes.
